Executive Team
Peter T. Mang is a visionary strategist, catalyst, discipler, missional entrepreneur, trainer, coach, counselor, consultant, and facilitator for transformational development. Peter has over a decade of experience in church planting, ministry leadership, and parachurch and nonprofit leadership.
Living intentionally the life God has called him to live, Peter’s purpose in life is to love God, love people, and make disciples. Peter is dedicated to infusing faith, hope, and love into people and culture, helping to transform the lives of people through lifelong learning, developing a new generation of transformational leaders, and empowering others to pursue their calling and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
In 2009, Peter began to serve as an itinerant Evangelist, sharing the gospel with unreached people in remote villages and cities across Ayeyarwady Region. In 2011, he began pursuing God’s call to church planting and planted house churches in Yangon. Agape Church Planting was started at the initiative of Agape Mission in September 2011, with the vision of planting a healthy church in every community in Myanmar.
Tony serves as Executive Director of Equipping at Agape Church Planting. He is called and gifted to equip God’s people to do His work and build up His church.
Tony was born in Matupi town, southern Chin State, Myanmar. He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord at age 14. He is a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He served as Associate Pastor and Youth Leader at Matupi Gospel Baptist Church in Matupi, Chin State.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity from Logos College of Theology in Trivandrum City, Kerela State, India, and a Master of Theology from Koinonia Baptist Seminary in Yangon, Myanmar.

Dr. David Vum Za Lian
Dr. David is the Senior Pastor of Gospel Baptist Church in Mayangone, Yangon. He currently serves as Director of Ebenezar Education dedicated to providing continuing education for disciplers, church planters, pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries. He served as a professor of Evangelism and Church Planting and Director of Missions at Gospel Baptist Bible Seminary in Yangon.
Joshua Tha Cung Lian
Joshua is a pastor of Gospel Baptist Church in East Dagon, Yangon. He has over two decades of experience in teaching ministry and served as a lecturer in Bible colleges and theological seminaries and as a church planter in Yangon.
Samuel Thian Nai Muang
Samuel is a professor of Theology and Biblical Language at Koinonia Baptist Seminary and Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Yangon. He served as a missionary among unreached people groups in Shan State, Myanmar.
Rev. Peter T. Mang
Peter is the founder and president of Agape Church Planting. He also serves as founder and president of the Association of Independent Churches of Myanmar, founder and president of Agape Initiatives, and CEO and founder of Agape Group. He enjoys volunteering with international organizations at the local, national, and international levels.
