Founded on May 1, 2022, the Association of Independent Churches of Myanmar is a voluntary association of independent churches working together to accelerate church planting among unreached people. Our passion is to glorify God by reaching the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ through planting a healthy church in every community in Myanmar.
As biblically independent churches with a strong disciple-making culture, we strive to lead and grow healthy churches that have Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in the areas of loving God, loving people, and making disciples. We seek to engage, equip, and empower every disciple to multiply healthy disciples and churches.
We are theologically conservative evangelical and fundamentally biblical, missional, independent, healthy churches led by healthy leaders with their own leadership teams and merged with the National Leadership Council.
National Leadership Council
The National Leadership Council is a leadership and management advisory board consisting of dedicated, committed, experienced, ethical, and credible leaders who are committed to serving the best interests of the church.
The National Leadership Council provides strategic direction, church consulting, leadership development, licensing and ordination, evaluation of doctrines, protection of church unity and purity, administrative supervision, financial accountability, and ministry training to strengthen church leaders and accelerate church planting and multiplication movements in Myanmar.
As the catalyst for the transformational development movement, we commit ourselves to live in obedience to the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:37-40
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:17-20
Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35, ESV)
