Program Introduction
The Missions and Church Planting Program is a one-year full-time residential or hybrid accelerated program focused on the biblical principles and practices for effective transformational missions to accelerate disciple making and church planting movements among unreached people in Myanmar.

In July 2023, Agape School of Missions and Church Planting successfully launched the 1st Batch of Missions and Church Planting Program in Mandalay with a small group of church planters and Agape Vision 2033 Mandalay Church Planting Initiative with Agape Church Planting.
In November 2023, Agape School of Missions and Church Planting introduced a hybrid accelerated option for its Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Missions and Church Planting programs.
The Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Missions and Church Planting Program is offered by the Agape University School of Missions and Church Planting in collaboration with Agape Church Planting.
Course Overview
The Missions and Church Planting Course is designed to equip, develop, and empower strategic church planters to glorify God by multiplying healthy disciples, churches, and leaders in every community in Myanmar.
National leaders who are called to serve in church planting will prepare themselves to effectively communicate the gospel, make disciples who make disciples, plant and lead healthy churches that multiply, equip God’s people to do His work and build up His church, and catalyze holistic transformational development to create healthy and thriving communities of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through multiplying healthy disciples, churches, and leaders everywhere.
Program Offers
- Diploma in Missions and Church Planting
- Postgraduate Diploma in Missions and Church Planting
The Diploma Program is designed for church planters with less experience and without any formal education and training, while the Postgraduate Diploma is ideal for church planters with years of ministry experience and an undergraduate or graduate degree or equivalent who want to prepare themselves for transformational missions and church planting.
Church Planting Internship Program

The Church Planting Internship Program will allow the students to gain experience in mission-oriented research, multicultural missions, disciple making, small group leadership, and church planting among unreached people groups in Myanmar.
Church Planting Interns will work in their new church plants in some parts of Myanmar for 2 – 3 months. The strategic church planters will work with a team of practice leaders and experienced practitioners to multiply disciples and establish new churches among unreached people groups.
During the Church Planting Internship, students will be required to do mission-oriented research, write an envisioning, and develop a Master Plan for Church Planting Movement and submit it to the Faculty of School of Missions and Church Planting in the last week of the internship to be eligible for graduation.
In addition, the Master Plan will determine the selection of called, equipped, qualified, and strategic church planters to join the church planting team with Agape Church Planting.
