Church Planting Internship

Program Overview

The Church Planting Internship Program will enable students to gain experience in mission-oriented research, multicultural missions, disciple making, small group leadership, and church planting among unreached people groups in Myanmar.

Church Planting Interns will work in their new church plants in various parts of Myanmar for 2 – 3 months. The strategic church planters will work with a team of practice leaders and experienced practitioners to multiply disciples and establish new churches among unreached people groups.

We envision a new generation of strategic church planters joining our church planting team and multiplying healthy disciples, churches, and leaders in every community in Myanmar.

Who is eligible for the internship?

Students of the School of Missions and Church Planting at Agape University who completed all the Core requirements for the Missions and Church Planting Program are eligible to serve as a Church Planting Intern with Agape Church Planting.

The Master Plan for Church Planting Movement

In this Church Planting Internship, students will be required to conduct mission-oriented research, write a strategic envisioning, and develop a Church Planting Master Plan, and submit it to the Faculty of the School of Missions and Church Planting in the last week of the internship to be eligible for graduation.

In addition, the Master Plan will determine the selection of called, equipped, qualified, and strategic church planters who will join the church planting team with Agape Church Planting.
