Peter T. Mang is an ordained minister, visionary strategist, instructor, master trainer and facilitator, leadership and executive coach, ministry and leadership consultant, biblical counselor, mission mobilizer, discipler, and catalyst for business as mission and transformational development.
With over 15 years of experience in fulltime ministry, Peter has served in multicultural missions, church planting, pastoral ministry, ministry leadership, nonprofit leadership, and business and professional services. He has worked with people from all walks of life, families, churches, ministries, corporates, academics, and organizations. His experiences include personal growth, spiritual and moral formation, marital and family wellbeing, children and youth development, mission mobilization, church multiplication, career growth, leadership development, executive development, training and development, organizational development, entrepreneurship development, community development, and more.
Peter is dedicated to living all of life as a ministry to be a witness for Jesus Christ to the greater glory of God. Living intentionally the life God intended for him to live, Peter’s purpose in life is to love God, love others, make disciples, equip disciples for ministry, develop leaders, help people flourish, and multiply healthy and thriving communities for the greater glory of God.
Peter’s passion is to glorify God by catalyzing transformational development through teaching God’s truth, transforming lives, developing leaders, and empowering people to live a life of obedience, faithfulness, and fruitfulness. He envisioned a new generation of leaders in every sphere of society equipped, developed, and empowered to catalyze holistic transformational development in Myanmar and Asia. Peter’s mission is to help people grow, develop, and flourish in the fullness of life and greater fulfillment for the glory of God.
In March 2007, Peter began his career in recruitment and started Agape Employment Agency from a humble beginning. On June 28, 2009, he founded Agape Vision to glorify God by catalyzing a movement that drives transformational development to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Peter began serving as an itinerant Evangelist, sharing the gospel with unreached people in remote villages and cities across Ayeyarwady Region for two years from 2009 to 2011.
In pursuit of his God-given purpose for Agape Vision and God’s calling on his life, Peter founded Agape Mission in September 2009, Agape Discipleship in September 2013, Agape Entrepreneurship in August 2015, Agape Development in September 2015, Agape Resources in January 2016, Agape Children and Youth in October 2017, and Agape Leadership in January 2017, and then merged into Agape Initiatives in 2018, and it is now changed to Agape Mission to adapt to the original name and purpose.
Initially started with 40 Days of Prayer and Half-day Fasting as an evangelistic ministry, Agape Mission was founded in September 2009 from humble beginnings and has grown into a missional movement with multifaceted missional initiatives to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our generation.
In September 2011, Peter founded Agape Church Planting and began pursuing God’s call to church planting and planted house churches in Yangon. In August 2015, he founded Agape Entrepreneurship Association with a vision to create a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem to accelerate micro and small business development in Myanmar. In September 2015, he founded Agape Foundation as a charity and development ministry initiative.
In March 2018, Peter founded Peter Mang Company Ltd. as a private family enterprise. In April 2018, Peter founded Agape University, formerly Agape Institute of Leadership. In February 2019, he founded Myanmar Church Panting Network and initiated BAM Myanmar network as the outcome of BAM Myanmar Conference 2019.
In March 2020, Agape Group™ was founded under the umbrella of Peter Mang Company Ltd. In July 2022, Peter Mang Company Ltd. was changed to an incorporated parent company of Agape Group and its seven subsidiaries Agape Education Services, Agape Startup Ventures, Agape Family Services, Agape Freelance Services, Agape Family Investments, Agape Digital Services, and Agape Lifeway Consulting, Counseling, Coaching, and Mentoring.
In May 2022, Peter founded the Association of Independent Churches of Myanmar. Since August 2024, he has led the creation of Myanmar Council for Accreditation and Accountability, a national, faith-based accreditation and accountability association dedicated to enhancing trust in Christ-centered institutions in Myanmar.
Agape Vision Global has five strategic initiatives: Agape Mission, Agape Group, Agape Church Planting, Agape University, and Agape Foundation. Agape Vision Global is a movement of people compelled by God’s love and driven by God’s purpose to live the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great Commission in our everyday lives through living a life of obedience, faithfulness, and fruitfulness.
