Missions and Church Planting

Missions and Church Planting Course is a 1-year residential program focused on missions and church planting principles with an emphasis on the practical implementation of biblical principles to accelerate church planting among unreached people in Myanmar

The Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programs in Missions and Church Planting are offered by the School of Missions and Church Planting at Agape Leadership University in collaboration with Agape Church Planting and Agape Mission Alliance.

Course Overview

The Missions and Church Planting Course is designed to train and equip national leaders interested in serving as church planters who will effectively communicate the gospel, make disciples who make disciples, plant and lead healthy churches that multiply, develop and equip leaders, and bring about transformational development in their communities.

The Postgraduate Diploma of Missions and Church Planting is ideal for church planters who have years of ministry experience and an undergraduate or graduate degree or its equivalent and want to prepare themselves for an effective cross-cultural mission, evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and holistic ministry.

Course Duration

The duration of a diploma and postgraduate course is one year, including activities such as midterm gospel outreach, church planting internship, and church-related ministry practicum.

The school year is divided into three trimesters:

  • 1st Semester – June 5 to August 30
  • 2nd Semester – September 18 to December 15
  • 3rd Semester – January 5 to March 30

Admission

The Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programs in Missions and Church Planting will begin in June 2023.
